Orchestra Fall Concert Oct. 24th @ 7PM
Orchestra students will perform a Fall Concert on Tuesday, October 24th at 7PM in the cafeteria. Students are required to stay after school for rehearsal beforehand and will be provided pizza for dinner. DRESS CODE: Please have your student dress all black. Students should either wear concert attire to school that day or bring it to change into after school.

Introducing TMS’ New Orchestra Director
Mr. Robert Rieve
Mr. Rieve is a graduate of the University of South Carolina and a former orchestra director in Charlotte, NC and Rock Hill, SC. At USC, Mr. Rieve majored in Music Education and Music Performance. His teachers included Ms. Pam Tellejohn-Hayes (pedagogy), Dr. Donald Portnoy, Thomas Dumm, and Lenny Schranze. Mr. Rieve worked throughout his undergraduate years with the USC String Project, a model for string educators, under the tutelage of Dr. Robert Jesselsohn. From 2001-2011 Mr. Rieve served as a guest orchestra clinician for Cobb county schools. As a professional musician, Mr. Rieve has been a member of the Atlanta Opera Orchestra, the Atlanta Ballet Orchestra, the Utah Festival Opera and Musical Theater Orchestra, and the North Carolina Symphony. Outside of music, Mr. Rieve has worked as an insurance salesman and real estate broker. He currently resides in Atlanta with his wife Charlan and two boys, Rowan and Jacob.
